Ben Evett has been a successful actor, director, and theater entrepreneur in Boston and on the national scene since 1989. He has performed all over the world with organizations like the Missouri Repertory Theater, the Alley Theatre, the Virginia Stage Company, and the American Repertory Theatre, where he was a member of the resident acting company from 1993 to 2003.
In 2004, Ben founded the Actors’ Shakespeare Project, which quickly grew into a mainstay of the Boston theater scene. He is now a freelance actor and director, frequently seen on the stage of the New Repertory Theatre.
In the fall of 2010, Ben founded Honest Ghost Productions, LLC, to produce his innovative new theatrical project with the working title Blood Rose Rising.
Blood Rose Rising is a new idea in theatrical performance: A serial drama, in which characters and story develop from one performance to the next, offering the audience a chance to become deeply involved in the world of the plays over a long period of time.
